Thank you to everyone who participated in the first ever Ham Radio Workbenches On The Air event, December 3rd, 2023. It went from 1800 or 2200 UTC. We Hosts had an absolute blast doing this, and we WILL be doing this again. Keep an eye on https://hrwbota.com and https://hamradioworkbench.com for details of coming events.
Special Thank You
Before we get to the results, I want to put out a special thank you to two Listeners, without whom this event would not have gone so well. They both volunteered their time to write the https://tracker.hrwbota.com/ site that allowed us Hosts to post in real time where we were operating, letting you Listeners follow us. The goal of the event was to make the QSO, not to hunt us down. The Live Tracker site made this possible.
Thank you so very much for all your work:
- KC2G, Andrew Rodland
- N0AW, Jeremy Turner
Awards, and How To Get Them
Certificates for Points Place winners, and Clean Sweep winners (but not Participation Certificates) will be mailed USPS to the address listed in QRZ.com. If you would rather I deliver to a different address, please contact mark@halibut.com and give me your preferred address.
All Certificates (including Participation Certificates) will be emailed to Listeners as PDFs to the email addresses listed on QRZ.com. Again, if you would rather I deliver to a different email address, please contact mark@halibut.com and give me your preferred email address.
First, Second, and Third Place
The following Listeners collected the most points:
- In Third Place, with 31 points, having worked Mark, Mike, and twice for both Vince and Thomas:
- AJ6T, Walter Miller
- In Second Place, with 33 points, having worked Mark, George, Vince, and twice for both Mike and Thomas:
- KC2G, Andrew Rodland
- In First Place, with 38 points, having worked Mark, Jeremy, and twice for all three Mike, Vince, and Thomas:
- N3XLS, Joe Raymer
Twice-worked hosts were using different modes, hence all QSOs counted for points.
